First, and foremost, thank you to those of you who understood my bedroom/closet clutter dilemma. And for those of you who had no idea what I was talking about, because you do not have a messy bedroom...I am hear to tell you that you have a gift. A very special gift that I would love to have! Feel free to give me some helpful tips because I am literally drowning in my closet! I do not lie!
So, for those of us who do not know what an organized closet looks like, I thought I would share some jewels that I found. I knew Martha would have our back, after all, she's the Queen Bee of organization and labeling! Oh if I could be 1/10 of the organizing woman that she is!
Example A: Clean, de-cluttered closet and it looks as if everything is in its place. And whomever this closet belongs to, they are very color coordinated. Notice there are no clothes outside of the closet. Interesting....very interesting.
Example B: Labeled hanging bags. I think this may be beyond my talents, but I am willing to get there. Willing to have it as a goal.
Example C: FOLDED shirts and sweaters! Who knew anyone really did this?!? And so perfectly neat too! Oh I can only aspire to be this good.
Example D: Organized accessories? Oh Martha Martha Martha! You're killing me! I am impressed.
Example E: This is apparently what clothes look like when they are actually hung on the hangers that reside in my closet. I'm not going to get ahead of myself but I'm thinking this is a good plan here. I mean, if I did this, I could actually see the clothing I have. I could actually put (dare I say?) outfits together! GASP!!!
Oh the beautiful hangers with their beautiful clothes. It is a glorious moment. As I said yesterday, the rest of my house is clean, organized, tidy. My room? My closet? HIDEOUSLY disorganized. I need help. Maybe there is a support group for people with my kind of problem. And yes, it really is that serious. But no, my closet does not look like that in real life. There are too many small people running in and out of it, LOL!

Girl, you are singing MY song! lol. My closet is the last bit of "decorating" I have left in my house (don't tell that to my blog readers - wink) But I have an IKEA near by and they have great closet solutions - only the money.... If I get to it, I'll post it. Wanna race???? haha.
My room and closet is so disorganized it's amazing that I can find anything in there!
If I saw a closet that was that organized and neatly arranged, I think I'd have to go pull everything off the shelves just for fun.
ooooooo pretty! Our 2x3 ft closets don't have a prayer of ever looking organized. They can barely even fit hangers inside!

Oh Martha is always there for us to be inspired and feel inadequate. What would we do without her! :)
The best thing my husband and I have ever done is have a custom closet organizer installed in our bedroom 2 days after we moved in. My close aren't folded quite as nicely as Marthas (and I am sure the drawers aren't either) but I have a place for everything and shelves make it really quick to put them away. Unfortunately the closet wasn't big enough to organize my shoes so they are a jumbled pile on the floor...let me know if you solve that one.
Oh I hope you're having fun organizing that closet! I love messing around with mine from time to time, but I could not do the tag thing, kinda over the top. lol
